On the In A Pinch blog I shared a fabulous blog Paper Glitter where, you can get free template downloads to make boxes, invitations and labels. As promised on the In A Pinch blog, here's what I created.
I used this take out container template...

Christmas Countdown

Starting December 1st we always give Jayden a Christmas countdown calendar. In the last couple of years Jayden acquired a nut allergy which means the pre packaged chocolate calendars are out of the question. This year I decided to make him one. The pics aren't the best but the colours are that rich, country Christmas feel. I used lots of Vintage Photo and Fired Brick Distressing Ink. I made the little paper bundles that are hung on ribbons with clothes pegs. Jayden was truly delighted when he woke to discover what I did for him.

Crafty Christmas Blog Hop!

What a great week of fun! I really enjoyed the Crafty Christmas week. To finish the week up here are a couple of projects I created based on some of the projects that were shared. The first couple of photos are a card a created using Lucy's sketch from Simply Scrapping. I used scraps from last years Christmas papers but added some new embellishments from Crafty Secrets.

Nest is a slide box I made that will evently house a bracelet I intend to make for a friend for Christmas. If you want to learn how to make this, Karen of Go Scrapping will be teaching the technique at the Dollar Store Club next Wednesday night. It's hard to see but the paper is very glittery.

Thanks for dropping by! Make sure to check out other blogs to see what they've created this season!

Go Scrapping Crop Make N' Take!

I thought I'd share what the make n' take that everyone at the Go Scrapping crop can create this Saturday. There will be a selection of eight tag designs to choose from. Every card created will have their own unique look. The photos doesn't really pick it up but it's chock a block full of Stickles. Verrrrrry glittery! Squeal!

Christmas Tradition

My mother whom I love and adore started this Christmas tradition when I was quite young. You see... the women in my family aren't the type of ladies that handed down age old recipes. If we can find a short cut when it comes to cooking, we are all over that. In fact, we believe that baking from scratch is using Bisquick. Loooooove Bisquick!

Anyways... my childhood Christmas tradition that I still cherish and now do with my family is, making and eating yummy Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls on Christmas morning. None of that homemade crap for us. Nothin' says Christmas like a Pillsbury Cinnamon Roll!

Christmasy Feelings

I was over at Jolly Allsorts and fell in love with these beautiful Christmas displays she shared on her blog. The photos not only inspire Christmasy feelings but the colour combination of teal blue, red, white and shimmery silver will definitely be found on someones Christmas card this year. Oooooh, I'm all a tingle! Let the Christmas music begin!

With Sympathy

As paper crafters we are always highlighting the good times in our lives but there are occasions when we have to pause and create a small token like a card to show sorrow for a friends loss.
With sympathy Louise. May loving memories bring you strength, comfort, and peace.
